Kaitlin is an intercultural professional with 8+ years of experience in researching and implementing creative ways to leverage cultural differences and similarities. Kaitlin has found success with clients in encouraging self-reflection, dialogue, story sharing, and awareness of unconscious bias to actively work to change inner dialogue and foster greater understanding and empathy.
Kaitlin began her career teaching English as a second language to adult and adolescent students of varied backgrounds and cultures. Kaitlin valued learning alongside her students as they sought to critically reflect on the world to make it a better place. After leaving the classroom, Kaitlin worked in non-profit, corporate human resources, and local city government striving to help people bridge behavior across cultural differences. She is excited to support LCW as an IDI Administrator and Coach and continue to learn as a an intercultural professional. Kaitlin earned her BA in Teaching English as a Second Language and her MA in Intercultural Studies at Union University. Kaitlin is also a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).
Kaitlin currently lives in Owensboro, KY. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching Zumba class, Latin dancing, and traveling to new and interesting places.
